At this time Babylonia was the most powerful nation on the planet. This was because the Most High put Nebuchadnezzar in charge. (Daniel 4:17) (Job 9:24) (Jeremiah27).

He besieged Jerusalem and took the 'Jews' captive to serve him. He also took the holy vessels and objects from the temple. It was this statue that was shown to him in his dream which was interpreted by daniel. (Daniel 2)

Darius the mede (King of Media) took over Babylon. Persia at the time had control over Judah and Mesopotamia and later Egypt and Libya.

King Cyrus of Persia made a decree for the 'Jews' to be able to go back to their land and rebuild the temple and they returned items that Nebuchadnezzar stole . (Ezra 1)
He was spoken of in Isaiah by name. (Isaiah 44:28) (Isaiah 45:1-6)

Alexander the Creep of Greece conquered the Kingdom of Persia and expanded his Kingdom. With this came rapid Hellenization of the world.

When Alexander died his four generals fought over the lands that he had conquered their names were; Ptolemy, Seleucus, Cassander and Lysimachus.
​
Out of this kingdom came a wicked root,
Antiochus Epiphanes. Anybody who called themselves a Jew or kept the laws and commandements of the Most High would be put to DEATH. They also sacrificed swine on the Most Highs altar in the temple.

Rome conquered the Greek empire in 146 BC, and it became a province under the rule of the Romans. It was later split into two kingdoms East and West Rome, and later it was split into ten kingdoms, this was due to internal conflicts and invaders attacking from the outside. In c. 6 AD Judea became a province under the rule of Rome. In c.30 AD Ha'Mashiach was crucified in this captivity. And in 70 AD Jersualem was made desolate and was completely destroyed by the Romans. The Roman Empire fell around 476 AD.
FEET MIXED WITH IRON AND CLAY
The Iron mixed with clay shows the restored Kingdom of Rome. But this time it is partly weak and partly strong, and they are a divided kingdom hence why they have so many countries in these last days. (Daniel 2:41-43)

This is where we currently are in the time line and the next step is for the MOST HIGH to build Israel and destroy the statue!
